Anticipated Outcomes for 2006

For participating individuals
  • Develop research and analytical skills from being aware of available resources.
  • Enhanced communication across the faculty, industry and Council sponsors.
  • Expanded and shared knowledge of recognition of prior learning and gathering evidence.

For participating organisations

  • Quality and consistency of assessment will be imporoved.
  • Collaboration and partnerships will be developed across TAFE NSW Institutes and Industry.
  • The Network will provide an opportunity to have external validation of the tools related to industry and RTO'S.

For the VET system

  • Shared body of knowledge through existing mechanisms. e.g. reframing the future project and website.
  • Availability of strategies to support learners int he VET sector.
  • A learner focused model for a pathway or recognition of prior learning.
